Do you struggle with learning ggplot2? Do you have problems with understanding what aesthetics actually do and how manipulating them change your plots?
Here is the solution! Explore 33 ggplot2 geoms on one website!
I created this ggplot2 explorer to help all R learners to understand how to plot beautiful/useful charts using the most popular vizualization package ggplot2. It won’t teach you how to write a code, but definitely will show you how ggplot2 geoms look like, and how manipulating their arguments changes visualization.
You can find my app here
And you can find code on my github
Hi,
This sounds really cool. Unfortunately, I’m getting a 502, Bad Gateway error for http://databall.co/shiny/shinyggplot/ . I don’t know if it’s a temporary nginx problem, or if something else is up, so I just wanted to bring it to your attention.
Thanks,
Mara
Hi Mara, Thanks for your comment! I think it was temporary error. Works fine for me. Should be working now. I assume server couldn’t handle all visitors.
Up and running!
Not working for me…same 502.
Should be better now. Also added missing pieces of code on github.
Excellent! Will you please add your gtm_head.js file to your GitHub page? Thank you!
Hi Rob, Thanks for your comment. All I have in js file is google tag manager code to track the website, so i won’t be really useful. You can find example of the code here: https://developers.google.com/tag-manager/quickstart
Hi Pawel,
Just wanted to say I love this Shiny app and it has encouraged me to start using ggplot more! Great work!
